





The Belgian Bioethics Advisory Committee has a specialised library with a wide range of nationally and internationally published books and magazines in the broad domain of bioethics, including basic works on bioethics and medical law.
By way of example, you will find publications on topics such as medical end-of-life decisions (palliative care, palliative sedation, euthanasia), medically assisted reproduction, termination of pregnancy, genetic screening, bio-/genetic engineering, gender, medical scientific research (on humans), organ donation (body material), access to (mental) health care, elderly care, and much more.

The acronym for the library is VDIC-BIOETH. Access to the content of an electronic article or e-book subscribed to by VDIC is only available on site, either via the PC of the documentation centre or on your own laptop by logging on to the FPS's WI-FI network 'health-guest'.
